Grand Indonesia Shopping Town

Jakarta. The metropolitan city that will never get old for me, perhaps because it is the city I have been spending most of my time in. Jakarta is one of the cities that is well-known for its enormous malls. Most of them locates any type of vendors, thus you can find anything in a mall.
Talking about my favorite mall, it is conveniently located in the heart of Jakarta, which is Grand Indonesia. Grand Indonesia carries a whole lot of tenants, ranging from middle to high market. You can find ready-to-wear to designer clothing. Local to fine dining dishes. Supermarket, bookstores, cafes, furniture shops, department store, etc are available in this mall that has two different sections, the West and East malls. The major department store where you can get anything inside, from beauty care to leather handbags! The new Spring/Summer 2014 Collection by Charles & Keith really captivates me :) My ultimate favorite retail store in GI: The newly renovated 2 floors of Forever 21!
Whenever I'm stuck with idea, I love to walk around in GI to find inspiration from their creative visual merchandises! This one belongs to Cotton On :) A floor filled with fast-fashion stores :D Their clothes are always up-to-date, hence many girls and women make Grand Indonesia as one of their favorite places to shop! Look at them shoes! Woman's major happiness. My other favorite: A floor full of restaurants - from Asia to Western cuisine! Enjoying meal time in the Food Court :) The most famous RON'S LABORATORY, only in Grand Indonesia people!

Who can resist a plate of Belgium waffle goodness with stacks of Magnum ice-creams? ;) One of their best units - China Town :D My favorite Chinese restaurant in GI because they have this fun twist, and they serve bubble tea too! Have you visited the newly renovated Starbucks? Much comfier and better service indeed :D Bored and need to chill? The outdoor side of Djournal Coffee Bar will bring your mood back :D Okay this would be helpful for mothers who want to shop but bring their children along, your children won't be bored with Fun World's endless games! Do you agree that Supermarket is one of the most important factors in a mall? The Food Hall takes almost half of the Lower Ground floor, shop till you drop :) The gigantic Blitz is here, take your loved ones to watch the latest movie and enjoy it with yummy snacks! The fountain - they always serve a combination of light and water performance here, very cool!  
I love the fact that Grand Indonesia has this X-type of escalator, make it easier for people to go up or down. Cutesy background walls along the mall :D Beautiful view that you can see from this massive window :)
