Jakarta Fashion Week 2013 - Day 9: Pia Alisjahbana Awards
Pia Alisjahbana Awards is always held 5 times a year, short to say - it is an award that is given to an individual and an institute that works in the fashion industry and is believed to have an impact on Indonesia fashion industry. I am so lucky to have shoot this because it happened only once in a year, and this year's winner goes to a Muslim designer, Itang Yunasz.
I personally love his ready-to-wear collection because they are appropriate to wear and yet still fashionable. I think the choice and combination of colors are not overdosed and it does not look too much, which is a very good thing to see. I also love how he picked beads to embellish the neckline because it looks really pretty and it looks exclusive!
