The Pursuit of Happiness

DSC_0351-2
Christmas is near the corner! Wow, I can't believe how December flies so fast. Is it because of the Earth's rotation or is it because I keep myself busy? When you have a lot to do on your shoulder, it tends to make the clock ticks faster than it usually does. Besides, you get to burn more of your fats too. Those are the two reasons why I accept as many offers as I can handle these days. Anyways I am so sleepy right now so I will just make it short.

Oh, by the way! I am currently in love with my new flirty flared skirt from Vogue Couture Shop. It is just a perfect one, I can mix and match it with everything and use it to anywhere. Go grab yours soon before it is out of stock :3

Full Moon

DSC_6878
Hi there, I am truly sorry for the lack of updates. I have been really busy "fixing" myself. So this is the outfit that I wore to Sebastian Gunawan's annual show - review on it soon. And I am sorry for the bad quality pictures; as these were taken under the dim lights, noise naturally appears.

So as what I said in the beginning, I have been trying to change my appearance. If you followed my Instagram, you might have realized that I am growing my bangs without cutting it short anymore. Some people asked me why did I change my look, so I am going to answer the question here. I will be seventeen soon so I kinda want to change my image. I understand some people think that being seventeen doesn't mean you should change yourself into someone who looks grown up and prepared, but being seventeen is not the only sole reason why I am seeking into differences. I feel like dressing myself in a sophisticated and mature way suits me way better than before, and I feel more comfortable with it.

I am fully aware that back then I hated what I love now. I told people that I won't wear the apparels I am wearing now. Even so, I don't regret what I said because I was happy with what I wore back in the old days. Every moment in life gives me a lesson to learn. In conclusion, everyone grows up and you can never expect what will happen in the future. So I guess you should stick with everything that doesn't bother you, and that is exactly what I am doing. Things might be unstable now, but I'm sure everything will be solid and steady.

Sand Chronicles

DSC_0073
Sometimes I just love to dress up childishly. Wearing loose tshirt instead of peplum top, wearing skirt instead of tight pants, wearing sneakers instead of heels. It feels extremely comfortable, up to the point where you can sleep with them. Anyhow since all of us are growing up, to dress accordingly is an obligation, at least I think so. As we can't be young forever, even though all of us wish to.

This top is a gift from Chicnova! I once wore this with a black flared skirt and someone thought it was a school uniform. Nonetheless I love this top very much, the collar is just too cute!
