Words That Can't Be Trusted

DSC_5805
I used to live as a people-pleaser. It is difficult for me to say no when somebody asked for a help. But I started to realize that it was unhealthy.

Even though I believe in Karma, I don't think it works that way. You reap what you sow only applies if all of the parties involved are HAPPY.

When you help someone but you feel uneasy or it feels like you are being forced, then it just doesn't work. You can't stop thinking about when will things end - when it will never end unless you realize that you are not spreading love, but hatred. Hatred is what you sow, and you will not get anything back.

The first time they ask for help, they feel grateful. For the second time, they feel happy. The third time, they feel okay. And for the next consecutive time, they have considered it as a habit. They think they have the power to make things feel the same. And from that time onwards, whenever they say thank you, it is not a form of appreciation and gratefulness; it is simply a routine.

Learn to say no when you can't deal with the hardship. People who love you for who you are and truly want you to be around them are those who don't take benefit of what you have, but they are those people who think what they can give for you.

And they are truly the best kind of people who make you sincerely happy.

Happiness in The Wind

DSC_0690
When someone says that money can't buy happiness, it is probably the most appropriate phrase ever. It is true that money can buy almost everything, but that almost, is most of the time, just a temporary happiness. Other than that, is time, love, family, and friendship that you can never get back. You can never buy the feeling that revolves around them. You can't bring the deceased to life, you can't change someone's heart, you can't remove someone's memory, and you can never turn back time.

It has always been better to lay in the arms of someone you love rather than to hold a bunch of shopping bags.

Scent of A Woman

DSC_0180
Life doesn't always go as what you planned or as what you thought. In every stage of life, you need to surpass a seemingly endless obstacle. Be it in friends, love life, work, or family.

People you enjoy hanging out with talks behind your back, people you can't live without can live without you, what you enjoy doing doesn't always give you benefit, people you wholeheartedly trust betray you, and the list goes on.

It makes life seems difficult, doesn't it? But, believe me, keep doing and planting good deeds because there is 1 person who puts all His belief on you, who sticks with you throughout the whole process, and He is God.

No matter what religion you carry, I believe you deserve love. I believe you will receive more when you started giving.

You guys might have known that I'm a massive fan of nail-art. For those who asked, I never did them by myself because I can't really draw properly.

A week ago, De Fleur Nail Art contacted me that she would do my nails. Without further ado, I definitely said yes! Starting from IDR 40.000, they serve by appointment or they can also create fake nails. Check out De Fleur Nail Art for more beautiful creation!

Beyond The Cloud

DSC_0253
When people ask me "How to be a Blogger?", most of the time I have no single clue on how to answer them precisely. Blogging is not like Mathematics where you can simply follow the formula that everyone learns about. Blogging is a personal thing that comes from your heart. When you blog with passion, it reflects on your posts. Indeed every blogger has their own formula, their own charm. And no other blogger can ever take or substitute that.

I might not be the most suitable blogger to explain it all, considering my achievement that is not as many as what my seniors have, but I am learning and I hope you learn with me too. Don't waste time wondering or comparing because the sky has no limit. When will you be able to pursue your dream when you haven't even started yet, when you haven't believed in yourself?

My only suggestion is.. Just do it. No matter what. As time goes by, I'm sure you will find out what your deepest heart wants.

The doors of opportunity will only be seen when you start walking down the hall.

The Kingdom of Wind

DSC_0230
Sometimes a thought keeps lingering in my mind. It always starts from one insignificant thought that later roots up to one big question in life. "Can I?" "Am I?" "Should I?".. 3 basic questions that we all have faced, and they require a detail answer.

What I chose in life isn't what I was told to do. Thus at some point of time, I asked myself if my path was even right since the beginning. Regretting? Sometimes I feel that way. But then, life is unexpected in so many ways. Right after a night of sorrow, God always shows me a brighter side. He tells me the reason of why I should stay and have a firm conviction. He always appreciates you and your minor effort, so continue to believe in Him. He will for sure, show His glory.

"Don't be sorry, just learn to trust Me in all things, the good and the bad. And don't doubt that My plan is always better than your plan."

Oh My Lady

DSC_0177
This week seems like a roller-coaster ride for me.. Both good and bad things happen in line. I guess life is about balance after all? So some of you (or none...) might be curious on what happened so I might as well tell you a couple of things (others are pretty private that only my close friends know). The bad thing is my Canon 5D shuts down itself; I did not really panic because I knew that it would be alright if I brought them to the service center, but I knew I had to pay a few amount of money. And my guess was right, with the money I could buy another leather bracelet.

The good thing is I finally found a lens cap for my Samsung mirrorless camera (lost them right after the day of purchase, yes that is how careless I am as what my dad would call me). I had to go to approximately 20 stores to find one but at the end I did not. I was really in despair so I decided to go home and just call the official Samsung store to pre-order the lens cap; while waiting for my driver, I saw a small and insignificant store in a corner and without expecting anything, I asked the sales assistant whether they had what I was looking for, THEY DID HAVE IT and it was the last ultimate stock, I was lucky indeed (lesson learned: "Don't judge a book by its cover."), Thank God for not making me to go through all the fuss :)

Enough for the rambling and now let me introduce you to my unique version of a Peplum top; it was a gift from Dhievine that I had received from last year, but I just had the chance to wear it now. I'm loving it to core, I can imagine a lot of outfits that will go well with this particular top. So thank you very much Dhievine! :)

Love In The Mask

DSC_0051
Hi guys! It is November now, these last three months feel so short. I also have not been actively blogging recently, I just got so much to do. Especially I need a special time to focus on every week's homework college since I got subjects like Accounting and Market Research - ah it just feels like high school, but worse. Such a pain... Anyways! I can't wait for holiday though. I really need to refresh myself for the upcoming new year and all!

Don't you guys agree that good heels are good to be worn? Though we can't deny that it gives women a lot of pain. That is why I always carry my flat shoes around, my savior. Last two weeks I received a pair of the comfiest flat shoes ever, and it is from Wakai! They just launched a new-designed and modern flat shoes (and wedges too!). Anyway this pair of shoes just don't get dirty no matter how much I wear them out (almost everyday). A must-have indeed, buy them here!
